The botanicals used in our products are naturally grown at New Flower herb farm. Our region is lush with biodiverse wild medicinal plants, and some of the botanicals we offer are also sustainably wildcrafted in pristine areas of the Northern Rocky Mountains. Our botanicals are cultivated with a closed loop farming technique known as JADAM, which is a system of Korean Natural Farming. This is a step above the typical “USDA Organic” which relies heavily on factory farming bi-products like bone, blood, & feather. All of our amendments are created on site; we feed our garden with naturally fermented plant fertilizers & wild harvested microbial cultures. Toxic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides have NEVER been used on our farm. We believe that our natural farming practices increase the physical quality and energetic vibration of our products though exceptional nutrient content and agriculture that is regenerative for our soil, in harmony with the environment.

Spagyrics are herbal extracts made using the alchemical processes of separation, purification and recombination. Though this method of herbal preparations has its roots dating back to ancient Egypt, modern spagyric herbalism closely follows the traditions set forth by 15th century Swiss alchemist, Paracelsus. Seemingly lost to history, spagyrics now reemerging to the forefront of herbalism due to their incredible benefits and uses.

One of the most prominent characteristics of a spagyric is that it contains all parts of the plant, including the salt minerals that are locked inside the herb. In alchemy the whole of the plant includes three principles of "mercury" (spirit, yin, prana, the life force), "sulfur" (soul, yang, consciousness) and "salt" (body, the vehicle, matter). The first step of the process is separating volatile essential oils and chemical constituents from the original material by solvent or distillation. A spagyrist will take the medicine making to the next step through purification using the element of fire, burning away what is no longer needed. This process is called calcination, where the plant matter is incinerated inside a crucible for days until it transforms into a purified white ash. This allows the minerals to become available and water soluble. The ash is strained out and the water containing the salts is slowly evaporated revealing the most beautiful and unique plant mineral crystals. The final step is recombining these minerals (body/"salt") with the alcohol (spirit/"mercury") and medicinal compounds (soul/"sulfur".) The outcome is a potent, bio-available, complete and purified herbal remedy for the whole human; Spirit, Soul and Body.
